My Story

I’m Deb. I live in beautiful Sonoma County. I am a vintage dealer and candle maker. After a long, successful career in mortgage banking and in winery events + hospitality, I finally left it all and decided to just do me. While finding and saving cool old vintage or antique things is a passion and a business, I also realized that I "needed" candles in my life constantly. And not just any candle, good ones! But I didn't know how to make them...it was too daunting. It was scary, who does this?

After reading, research and poking around I one day realized I was fearful for no reason. If I really made a mess, no one had to know! But I didn't make a mess. It was fun. It was science-y. It smelled divine! And in 2020 it all began. I started with soy candles because they are wonderful and in 2023 added beautiful beeswax candles and travel tins and in 2024 (so far!) vintage vessel candles.

I live on 1.6 acres in West Sonoma County with my husband and 2 very large dogs (Otis + Murphy). We also sometimes have Grand Dog Snoop with us. They are always at my feet, usually in the way. I am subject to them photo bombing any picture at any time. We adore them and they know it!
